SILVA IBÁÑEZ ABOGADOS REPRESENTED BENCHMARK ANIMAL HEALTH GROUP IN THE SALE OF ITS VETERINARY DIVISION TO PHARMAQ AS

Silva Ibáñez Abogados (“SIA”) represented Benchmark Animal Health Group Limited (“BAHGL”), a subsidiary of Benchmark Holdings plc, in the sale of its veterinary division, FVG Limited (“FVG”), to Pharmaq AS, a subsidiary of Zoetis, Inc. This was a highly complex cross-border transaction that encompassed the sale of 100% of the capital stock of FVG, along with all of their subsidiaries around the world, one of which (Fish Vet Group Chile SpA) operates in Chile. Out team advised BAHGL on the different aspects of the transaction regulated by Chilean law, in particular, the acquisition of the Purisan Business in Chile, as well as the setup of the new business unit tasked with carrying out this and other veterinary-related businesses in the local market.
